In our latest episode of Pod Shots, I’m joined once again by the host of Filmographies and Cameron Watches Movies, Mr. Cameron Rice! In this episode, we’re discussing the quiet atmostpheric film The Loneliest Planet! We begin discussing how Cameron came to this film and why he wanted to mention it. We discuss several aspects of the film including the lack of dialogue, the setting, the scenery, the color choices and ultimately the choice that makes this film go. We talk a bit about that main sticking point of the film before giving it away, so spoilers!!! Cameron then speaks on the moment of the film that he didn’t particularly buy, which happened to be Eric’s favorite scene of the film! Eric talks a bit about how the film continually had him guessing as to what it really was and how that may have altered his experience more than he would have wanted. It’s a fun discussion and a very interesting film, check it out!
